Medical ToxicologyMedical Toxicology is a medical subspecialty that focuses on the diagnosis, management and prevention of medical disorders caused by exposure to medications, illicit drugs, and occupational and environmental chemicals and toxins. Medical Toxicology is officially recognized as a medical subspecialty by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS). VERITOX®'s Medical Toxicologists are board-certified in Medical Toxicology and have primary board-certifications in Preventive Medicine, Occupational Medicine, and/or Emergency Medicine. They have extensive experience working with poison and drug information centers and treating patients suffering the effects of exposure to a wide variety of synthetic and naturally-occurring chemical agents. VERITOX®'s Medical Toxicologists are also experienced reviewers of the results of drug, alcohol, and other tests for chemical exposure in occupational and non-occupational settings.
