William T. Geer, MS, CIH

William T. Geer, M.S., CIH, holds a position with VERITOX®, Inc. as a Senior Industrial Hygienist. He has over fourteen years experience practicing industrial hygiene, safety, and loss control consulting. Mr. Geer holds a master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene and Safety from the University of Washington, and is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH).

Mr. Geer has broad experience conducting industrial hygiene evaluations including indoor air quality, bioaerosoles, ergonomics, solvents, metals, silica, dusts, and noise. He assists clients in corporate hygiene, safety and operational requirements to best meet their needs. Mr. Geer has provided training to management and employees on healthcare patient-transfer ergonomics, office ergonomics, chemical hazard communication, lead-in-construction, confined space entry, and respiratory protection.

Mr. Geer has provided occupational health and safety support to workers’ compensation clients, providing prevention programs and evaluating historical claims experience to identify trends, clarify exposure risks, and demonstrating performance improvements.

Mr. Geer has collaborated with risk management firms to integrate employee protection concerns with the healthcare risk management issues and the Environment of Care management.

Mr. Geer has performed facility-wide inventories of confined spaces and asbestos containing materials, producing flexible, clearly communicated reports to assist management in making cost-effective data-based decisions to prioritize issues, manage risks, prevent losses, and measure progress.
